Does anyone else think it is a little odd that the NBA has the two teams that were so popular in the 80’s and into the early 90’s playing for the title? Two of the largest markets in the Lakers and the Celtics with the biggest fan bases are in the finals again and this can only lead to huge revenues for the league as a whole. Were there some attempts to reinvent the NBA Finals after the two small market teams from last year had such a poor television showing or is it simply the way the cards fell. The debates are already out there for you to decide on.
